  1. Very sad to receive my summer flyer in the mail yesterday, to find out about this event. Especially more so seeing that even following here would have given barely 3 days notice.

Ms. Carey, a Flint native and I believe Owosso resident, would certainly have gotten a greater response with a bit more lead time and publicity, especially to DSC Members.

  2. It’s great to know our programs are worthy events patrons look forward to attending. Our recent Star Trek Forum with Diane Carey was advertised on WJR-AM, in newspapers, on-site, through social networking sites, in e-blasts, on the Science Center’s website under events and we utilized public relations efforts with WXYZ too. Unfortunately, the timing of the quarterly member newsletter arriving in homes did not coincide with the event. To ensure, you are among the first to know about upcoming events happening at the Detroit Science Center, sign-up to receive our e-newsletter, become a friend of DSC on Facebook or receive updates through Twitter.
