DSC Staff at the Spring Meeting of the Michigan State Chapter of the Great Lakes Planetarium Association

Staff members of the Detroit Science Center's Dassault Systemes Planetarium (including Manager Jenny Pon, Technical Coordinator John Potts, Animator Kevin Bindschadler, Education Coordinator John Schroer, and IMAX Chief Projectionist/videographer Pete Herb) attended the Spring Meeting of the Michigan State Chapter of the Great Lakes Planetarium Association. The trip to Grand Rapids and the Grand Rapids Public Museum was accompanied by a amazing lightning show to the south as we traveled west. Activities at the State meeting included presentations on social media, planetarium show productions, and the history of planetariums, astronomy and telescopes.
