Okay, it's a totally different kind of "Midnight Ride" but the annual Perseid meteor shower is under way! The Perseids are a prolific meteor shower associated with the comet Swift-Tuttle. This is perhaps the best known meteor shower and also among the most reliable in performance. The expected peak is August 11th and 12th when you might see dozens of Perseids an hour!
