MyDSC: So tell us a bit more about this new Spring Break camp.
Scott: The

Scott: We developed this “Going Green” themed camp to correspond with our new “Going Green” show presented on the

Scott: In addition to all of our themed camp activities, the
MyDSC: All this sounds great, but reducing, reusing, recycling... it going to be fun?
Scott: The kids are going to have a blast! The project I’m looking forward to the most is helping campers discover creative uses for things we just don’t use anymore, such as computer disks and audio cassettes. They are going to make some pretty impressive things!
The DSC's "Going Green" Spring Break Camp offers sessions for Grades 1-3, 4-6, and 7-8.
Cost:
$40 members / $45 non-members for one day

My kids have participated in other DSC camps. They had a blast, and it was great having them not connected to a remote control!
ReplyDeleteWish there was something for younger children. My five-year-old son has loved camps at the Science Center and is dying for things to do in the winter.
